EonaraGive an hour somewhere to go.

Eonara is a quiet place for focused time. You decide what deserves an hour of your attention, and it gives that hour somewhere to happen.

The arc

Every hour follows the same arc.

Attention is the form time takes when you spend it. In Eonara, an hour of it moves through five moments, always in the same order.

  1. Claim

    Something asks for your time.

  2. Decide

You judge whether it deserves depth.

  3. Enter

    You cross into the session.

  4. Hold

    You sustain attention against decay.

  5. Return

You come back out, and the work exists.

A place

An hour has a place.

Say what the hour is for, or say nothing, and choose how long it runs. Then it happens somewhere: a room with a window, a light to work by, and the one piece of work on the desk.

Lumi, Eonara’s small living light, keeps the hour company. She finds a surface in the room, and she stays quiet.

Depth

Nothing else asking for you.

The deeper the hour goes, the quieter everything around it becomes. What would have pulled at you recedes, and the only bright thing left is the light you are working by.

An hour cut into nine pieces is not an hour. It is nine beginnings, and no depth anywhere in it.

What remains

Where your hour goes.

A finished hour becomes a point of light in the sky above your world. Nothing is counted and nothing is ranked.

The world remembers the attention you gave. It does not judge it.

Coming back

Leave without losing your place.

Something will interrupt, eventually. Before you go, write one line about where you stopped. Eonara keeps it with what the hour was for.

When you come back, your place is handed back to you, and the hour picks up where you left it.

Somewhere is ready when you are.

Eonara is a place for focused time. The scarce thing is not hours. It is the decision about what those hours are for.
